Design File Guidelines

Preferred file formats
-AI (Adobe Illustrator) is preferred
-PDF or high resolution PNG files are also acceptable

Important notes
-If your design includes text please convert all fonts to outlines
-Please clearly show the final outline shape
-If you don’t have a final design, sketches or reference images are welcome

Choose the Patch Type

Embroidered Patch

Classic texture and dimensional stitching that gives your design a premium, handcrafted look. Ideal for logos, badges, and bold artwork with clean shapes and limited color transitions. Offers excellent durability and a timeless feel.

Chenille Patch

Soft and plush with a fluffy, raised texture that feels cozy and eye-catching. Commonly used for cute furry animal designs, school team logos, varsity jackets, and bold letter patches. Best suited for simple shapes, large areas, and designs that benefit from a playful, textured look.

Woven Patch

Made with finer threads to achieve sharp lines and intricate details. Features a smooth, flat surface that works well for small text, thin outlines, and detailed designs. A great choice when embroidery alone cannot capture fine artwork.

Printed Patch

Full-color printed design with unlimited color possibilities. Perfect for complex graphics, gradients, photographic elements, or detailed illustrations. Allows accurate color reproduction and is often the most cost-effective option for highly detailed artwork.

Choose Your Base Fabric

The base fabric is the foundation of your patch — it determines the texture, durability, and look of your final product.

🔶Common Fabric Options:
      -Twill : Most common, smooth surface, great for clean embroidery
      -Felt : Soft and thick, perfect for a soft and cozy look or playful designs
      -Fine Twill : With a smoother surface — great for printed patches and detailed embroidery

📌The fabric color will be matched as closely as possible to your artwork.
📌 If you choose a fully embroidered patch, please let us know clearly —
this means all areas of the design will be filled with thread.

Choose the Border Finish

The border finish gives your patch a clean, complete look and helps protect the edges from fraying.
We offer two popular options:

🔶Laser Cut Edge
      Cleanly sealed edge using precision laser cutting
      Best for custom shapes and detailed outlines
      Sleek and modern finish

🔶Merrowed Edge
      Thick, stitched border around the patch
      Ideal for simple shapes like circles, squares, and rectangles
      Classic look, durable and slightly raised
      Not suitable for highly irregular or complex outlines
